Seoul Rite

A K-beauty brand that publishes itself.

Seoul Rite publishes a new article every morning at 5 AM — trend research, long-form writing, original images, SEO, deployment. No writer. No editor. No photographer. Just a pipeline we built in under two weeks.

The problem

Publishing daily content means hiring people. A writer runs $4-6K/month and still produces inconsistent quality. AI without guardrails outputs generic garbage that kills credibility. The math doesn't work either way.

Context

Seoul Rite is a K-beauty editorial brand built from zero. The goal: daily articles with a distinctive first-person voice covering ingredient science, honest reviews, and trend analysis. The typical path requires a writer, editor, photographer, and developer. We replaced all four with a governed pipeline.

The challenge

Daily content is a treadmill that breaks every team eventually.

Hire a writer and you get inconsistent output at $4-6K/month for a single post per day. Use raw AI and you get hallucinated citations, template prose, and zero brand voice. Neither option scales. Neither option is cheap enough to sustain for a brand starting from nothing.

What we found

Ungoverned AI content fails in predictable ways — fabricated sources, voice drift, formulaic structure readers can smell immediately. The fix isn't better prompts. It's a system: persona rules that define what the voice is and isn't, banned patterns that catch drift, and a review gate that separates generation from publication. Quality is a pipeline problem, not a prompt problem.

Our approach

01

Defined an editorial persona with hard rules: first-person voice only, ingredient science backed by real research, honest verdicts, specific banned words and phrases. Every generation runs through these constraints.

02

Built an end-to-end daily pipeline: trend discovery scans the landscape, AI generates the article, a separate system creates original editorial images, the post auto-registers in the CMS, pushes to git, deploys to preview, and sends a notification for review.

03

Installed a PR-based approval gate. Nothing goes live without passing through preview first. Voice drift, factual issues, or quality drops get caught before the audience sees them.

04

The entire pipeline runs on a 5 AM cron job. Cost per post is pennies — compute and image generation. No editorial staff, no freelancers, no agency retainer. Fresh content deployed before anyone wakes up.
